Our oils are crafted using premium cannabinoid-rich extracts from select global sources, expertly blended with organic carriers like hemp seed oil, coconut oil, and MCT. What sets Mediweed apart is the Entourage Effect — our unique formulation contains not just CBD, but a full range of natural cannabis compounds, including flavonoids and terpenes.

To make a 1000mg CBD oil, we use 1830mg of our proprietary Entourage Oil — delivering 1000mg of CBD alongside 830mg of supporting plant compounds that no other supplier matches.

Originally developed using low-THC Swiss cannabis and handmade in small batches, the Mediweed formula has evolved — but still delivers the same phyto-rich profile that made it a favourite among those who know the difference.

Mediweed’s oils are based on historic British cannabis preparations, similar to those prescribed prior to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Our oils are made from the active parts of legally grown Cannabis sativa, using heritage extraction methods developed over two decades.

All products contain less than 0.2% THC, in line with current UK hemp regulations. Mediweed does not produce or supply controlled drugs. We also reject the Home Office’s non-binding 1mg per container guideline, which has no legal basis under UK statute.

Our products are offered as traditional herbal extracts for historical and wellbeing interest only. They are not authorised as medicines or foods, and no medical claims are made.
