All Mediweed products contain either zero THC (Green Members) or less than 0.2% THC (Yellow Members), in full accordance with current UK regulations. Mediweed does not produce or supply controlled drugs.

We reject the Home Office’s non-binding “1 mg THC per container” guideline, which has no legal basis under UK statute. Our compliance is based on established law, not advisory interpretations.

Our oils are made following historic English cannabis preparations, similar to those legally prescribed prior to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Each oil is crafted from the active parts of lawfully grown Cannabis sativa, using traditional full-spectrum extraction methods that preserve the plant’s original composition.

By contrast, the so-called “novel foods CBD oils” now common on the market are industrial isolates—chemically stripped and recombined forms of hemp extract. These are new synthetic-style products, not traditional cannabis preparations, and they lack the heritage profile that defined genuine English cannabis oil for centuries.

Mediweed’s oils are offered as traditional botanical extracts for historical, educational, and wellbeing interest. They are not authorised as medicines or foods, and no medical claims are made or implied.
