Mediweed’s oils are based on historic British cannabis preparations, similar to those prescribed prior to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Our oils are made from the active parts of legally grown Cannabis sativa, using heritage extraction methods developed over decades.

All products contain less than 0.2% THC, in line with current UK hemp regulations. Mediweed does not produce or supply controlled drugs. We also reject the Home Office’s non-binding 1 mg per container guideline, which has no legal basis under UK statute.

Our products are offered as traditional extracts for historical and wellbeing interest only. They are not authorised as medicines or foods, and no medical claims are made.
